Digital Photography in teaching
Digital Photography can be very useful in the teaching process. They enhance and enrich the learning experience for learners old and young. Capturing digital photography of your students is a good way to share and preserve memories. Teachers can use these photographs in class activities and exercises which will make the lessons personally applicable to the students.
Digital photography can be used in activities like comparing pictures, writing about pictures, talking about pictures and describing pictures.
Incorporating photography into your work is easy to do. Just select a picture from your folders and upload it to the document. Then you have several tools to enhance, filter, crop and colour your pictures as indicated in the picture below. Following are some examples of these tools.

Adjusting Picture brightness
Sometimes pictures can turn out dark and hard to see. Adjusting the brightness of your pictures can enhance the pictures so they appear to be more visible and clear.
Crop
The crop button can allow you to remove unwanted portions of a picture. Just click on this icon and adjust the tabs to shrink down to the things you want in your picture to focus in on.
Macro/close up
Compress image resolution
Compressing the image resolution of your pictures can help you save memory on your computer, camera and phone. This can also help you compress items down so that they can be more of an appropriate size for emails and maybe txt messages.
Applying various effects
This feature allows you to change the colouring, texture, saturation or effect of your pictures. Double click on your picture and the above tab will appear, giving you different options to use on your picture.
